Why Southern Septic

Useful answers before expensive guesses

We explain what we found, what it means, and which repair options make sense before work begins.

When a system problem involves more than the tank, we look at flow, components, field conditions and site history together.

For larger commercial or pump-station work, we can scope the job around access, equipment, downtime and disposal requirements.

Service area

North Georgia and surrounding areas

Based in the Cumming area. Service availability depends on job type, travel distance and equipment requirements. Contact us with the property location and we’ll confirm coverage.

FAQ

A few quick answers

How often should a septic tank be pumped?

There is no single interval that fits every home. Tank size, household size, water use, garbage disposal use and system condition all matter. We can recommend an interval after service.

Does pumping fix every backup?

No. A full tank can cause trouble, but backups can also come from clogged lines, damaged baffles, pump failures, distribution problems or a saturated drainfield.

Can you work on commercial systems and lift stations?

Yes, depending on system type and location. Send us the equipment information, photos and site details so we can scope the work correctly.

Request service

Tell us what’s going on.

Send the property location, what the system is doing, and any photos or history you have. We’ll use that to point the next step in the right direction.
